UPDATE INFORMATION
Indian Lake Treatment Plant
Improvement Project
The
Indian Lake Treatment Plant Improvement Project is complete.
This
project was necessary to keep the wastewater treatment
Plant
facility in compliance with the Ohio Environmental Protection
Agency’s
ever increasing standards.
Furthermore,
as the current treatment facility has been in constant operation
for
over 24 years and equipment parts for repair were becoming scare, if not
obsolete,
replacement
of this equipment was vital to uninterrupted service.
To pay
for this improvement, the District must charge a capital cost that will be
implemented
in increments as listed below.
As the
District has been able to keep costs down and increase the collection of
delinquent accounts
the scheduled
$2.00 increase for 2012 for District 1 and District 2 were not implemented.
