There Are Five Rate Structures For The Indian Lake District

Areas in which the sanitary sewer lines were installed prior to 1985 is District 1

(Russells Point, Lakeview, Indian Isles, Orchard Island, Midway Addition, Lakeside, Blackhawk Park…)

are charged a monthly rate of $18.70 for single family dwellings with a

$9.00 per month surcharge * for capital improvement to the treatment plant

Areas in which the sanitary sewer line were installed AFTER 1985 is District 2

(Chippewa Park, Island View, Avondale, Sassafras Point, King’s Landing, Turkeyfoot, Five Parks, Waterbury Resort…)

are charged a monthly rate of $24.94 for single family dwellings with a

$9.00 per month surcharge* for capital improvements to the treatment plant.

* February 2009 capital improvement charge was $3.00/month

February 2010 capital improvement increased $3.00 for a total of $6.00/month

February 2011 capital improvement increased $3.00 for a total of $9.00/month

Long Island, O’Connor’s Point and Blue Heron Cove of Lakeridge Island are District 10.

The sanitary sewer lines built in these areas were a Special Project and as such were to be a self-supporting District.

The Rate for District 10 is $33 per month for single family dwellings with no capital improvement charge.

North Fork Area (on SR 117 by Long Island) is District 502

This rate is $39.83 The rate is broken down as follows:

Huntsville – Cherokee Manns Area is District 503

This rate is $41.00 per month with no capital improvement charge

ALL POTENTIAL INDUSTRIAL, COMMERCIAL or MULTI-DWELLING UNIT

FOR BILLING RATES.

Our meter rates (not available for residential units) are as follows:

$2.83 per thousand gallons of water consumption District 1

$3.78 per thousand gallons of water consumption District 2

$5.00 per thousand gallons of water consumption District 10

$6.03 per thousand gallons of water consumption District 502

$6.21 per thousand gallons of water consumption District 503

or they may be billed according to a fixed rate based upon the number of fixtures within the building complex.

Meter readings are either taken from the public water works billing cards or a meter supplied by

the Industrial/Commercial user which are read monthly by our personnel.
