David P. Knight is currently serving his second term as Logan County Commissioner. He has 37 years experience in management positions at Navistar International and three years service with the United States Army. He is a graduate of Indian Lake High School and the Ohio State University in Columbus. He lives on and operates a farm north of DeGraff. He is married to Nancy Knight who has retired as the Superintendent of the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. They have three grown children, Brian, Kevin and Kelly and three grandchildren. Committee Assignments: Solid Waste District - Chairman, Courthouse Security Committee, Health District Advisory Board, Community Corrections Board, County Farms, Area Retired Senior Volunteer Program Board, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) - County Committee, Emergency Management Agency Policy Board and County Terrorism Advisory Committee Joint Committee Assignments: County Solid Waste District Board, County Sewer District Board, Logan Acres Board, County Council on Aging, Local Emergency Planning Committee and County Fair Board (Ex-officio)
