David P. Knight is currently serving his first term as
Logan County Commissioner. He has 37 years experience in management
positions at Navistar International and three years service with the United
States Army. He is a graduate of Indian Lake High School and the Ohio
State University in Columbus. He lives on and operates a farm north of DeGraff.
He is married to Nancy Knight who is the Superintendent
of the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. They have three grown children,
Brian, Kevin and Kelly and three grandchildren.
Committee Assignments:
Courthouse Security, Community Corrections Board,
County Sewer District Chairperson, County owned farms, Career Center EMS
Advisory Committee, Microenterprise Board, Area Retired Senior Volunteer
Program Board, Federal Emergency Management Agency (County Committee) and
Madriver Steering Committee.
